Capricious Youths
Jan. 11th, 2012 09:05 pmIt wasn't often the Ferb kicked the old dimensional hopper into action. The thing was rather clunky compared to some of the newer things he and his brother had managed to construct. Plus it was just so old...he was scared that whatever miraculous fate had kept the thing tethered to the cyber plane would break and he would actually not be able to fix it.
It would leave him trapped in his own rather boring world and he'd fall back into routine. He hated routines so this old device was just even more important.
Tonight was one of those rare nights that he would go down to the garage after everyone had gone to bed and bring his dear invention to life. The portal would fizzle before opening and showing him the darker world he enjoyed traveling to so much. Without hesitating one bit he stepped through the portal, watching it close with a small buzz of power before turning towards the hallway it had landed him in.
He stopped at two doors first but it seemed their occupants were gone. One was not a surprise but the other made he pause and secretly worry for whoever had caught the girls attention for the evening. With a little bit of bounce in his step he made his way to the final door. Opening it he simply leaned against the door jam and folded his arms, waiting for a certain someone to notice he was there.
